New WDXRF Commissioned

IPL has recently purchased a new Wavelenght Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence or WDXRF which enables accurate determination of elemental concentrations.

The WDXRF purchased specialises in elemental analysis from crude oil to petrochemicals and fuels. The WDXRF will be used for application such as:

- Analysis of sulphur in petroleum products

- Analysis of additives and wear metals in used lube oils

Relying on the latest technology, IPL can offer faster fuel and oil analysis at excellent detection limits.
